The centerpiece of this initiative is the 3500 sq.ft. SemperGreenwall Indoor system, designed to bring nature indoors and enhance the learning environment. By design of Farr Associates Architecture & Urban Design, this innovative green wall not only beautifies the space but also contributes to a healthier atmosphere for students and staff alike.
In addition to achieving LEED Platinum certification, the Keller Center has also successfully met the rigorous criteria of the International Living Future Institute’s Living Building Challenge (LBC), earning certifications in the Materials, Beauty, and Equity Petals. The LBC program encourages the construction of buildings that are not just environmentally friendly but also restorative and regenerative, seamlessly integrating with the local ecology and culture.
